What exactly is “my computer”?
Your own computer in the cloud, always online: a real Linux machine in our data center with its own processor, memory and disk. Open it in Uno Work, over SSH, or let your AI agent drive it.
Do I need a computer just to host a site?
No. On Free you get sites with forms, a password and a data store, set up with switches in the console. A computer is for things that run: bots, apps, agents.
Can my own AI use Uno without your app?
Yes. Paste one line into Claude Code, Codex or Cursor and press Approve on the link it sends you. No key to copy: the agent gets its own scoped key and creates computers, publishes sites and turns on forms by itself. See Connect your agent.
Can I use my Claude or ChatGPT subscription?
Yes. Sign in with it and agents like Claude Code and Codex use your plan. Uno AI is optional: it comes in AI time that never expires while your plan is on.
Does AI time expire?
No. AI time never expires while your plan is on — what you don’t use piles up: Small + AI gives 40 h this month, 120 h after three. Only the minutes the AI is working for you count; ten chats in the same minute count as one minute. See Pricing for details.
Do I need a card to start?
No. Free gives you sites, 10 GB of cloud storage and the Uno Work app on your Mac, PC or in the browser. Pick a plan when you want your own computer in the cloud.
What happens when my computer isn’t used?
Paid computers stay on 24/7. Only the free 3-day trial computer sleeps: after 5 minutes idle, and it wakes when you open it.
Working disk or cloud storage?
The working disk is where programs run: fast, sized for your apps. Cloud storage is where files live: big, cheap, easy to share, and it stays if you delete a computer.
Can I get my things out?
Yes, with tools you know: download from Files, scp/rsync, pg_dump, aws s3 sync.
