Voice into text is part of Uno AI. Here are the limits, up front.
The biggest file for one request. Formats: ogg, mp3, wav, mp4, m4a, webm and flac. For a longer call, shrink the audio to mono or cut it in parts.
Calls into text, step by stepDictation costs nothing within a daily limit. Past it, your AI time or credits pay. We do not call it unlimited.
The honest limitsYour own tools can call the same service: POST /v1/audio/transcriptions, in OpenAI's format. An app on your computer can call it from the Uno Work app SDK, in JavaScript or Python.
API and MCPWhisper writes text with timestamps. It does not say who is speaking; ask the agent to mark turns from the context.

Does it join my live call?
No. Record the call first, then attach the file. Tell the people on the call that you record: the rules differ by country.
Does it work in my language?
Whisper's own README says its accuracy varies widely by language. Noise and crosstalk lower it too. Read the first minute against the audio.
Is dictation really free?
Within a daily limit, yes. Past it, your AI time or credits pay.
